Lauren Jelencovich, acclaimed soprano and dynamic crossover artist is a featured vocalist with Yanni, performing to sold-out audiences around the globe at iconic venues including Radio City Music Hall, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and Royal Albert Hall. She is a member of the Recording Academy, appears on his PBS specials, DVDs, and albums, including Inspirato, where she performs "Usignolo (Nightingale)" alongside Plácido Domingo and Renée Fleming.

A Grand Prize winner of Ed McMahon’s Star Search and Andrea Bocelli’s World Scholarship, Lauren has been featured in People Magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People” and Teen Magazine, earning praise for her emotionally resonant performances in both opera and musical theater.

Recent highlights include working with Dolly Parton on the movie musical pitch for Christmas on the Square (Netflix) and being cast in the developmental workshops of the upcoming 2026 Broadway-bound musical based on Dolly’s life. Lauren made history as the first woman in recent memory to perform on stage for a mixed-gender audience in Saudi Arabia—a performance she and Yanni both describe as profoundly moving.

Lauren’s theatrical career includes her Off-Broadway debut in the world premiere of The Music Teacher by Wallace and Allen Shawn, her Carnegie Hall debut, and performances with the Owensboro and Venice Symphonies. At Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, she starred in A Little Night Music directed by Isaac Mizrahi, and received critical acclaim for her portrayals of Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi) and Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica) at Opera Tampa under Maestro Anton Coppola. Additional roles include Queen of the Night and Papagena in Die Zauberflöte, and Sophie in Werther. She also sang to record-breaking crowds of over 20,000 people at Mexico’s Festival de Santa Lucia in Broadway Sinfónico with Mauricio Martínez. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, Lauren continued her training with William Esper at the William Esper Studio. Known for her effortless high notes, comedic storytelling, and charismatic stage presence, she captivates audiences across genres. Her digital presence includes over 130,000 social media followers, 4.8 million streams on Spotify and Apple Music, and more than one million YouTube views.
